Write to End Violence Against Women Awards 2023: the shortlist
We’re excited to share the finalists for our 2023 Write to End Violence Against Women Awards. Following open public nominations, these entries were shortlisted by our expert steering group for excellence in tackling important issues around violence against women and girls, challenging norms and stereotypes, and giving a voice to those affected by this abuse.
Winners will be announced at an online event on the 28th November by our panel of expert judges:
- Afua Hirsch, award-winning writer, journalist, former barrister and filmmaker, known for storytelling on culture, identity and social justice
- Alice Gould, Head of Complaints at the media regulator, IPSO
- Lexie Kirkconnell-Kawana, CEO of media regulator IMPRESS
- Nicole Jacobs, Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England and Wales
